Who we are

Grampian Pickleball Club (GPC) was formed in July 2021 to promote, play and develop the sport of pickleball within the north east communities of Scotland.

We are a social play club which welcomes players of all abilities to join us.

From starting with a small pool of players, we are now a fully constituted club with a healthy growing membership.

We are a volunteer-led, not-for-profit, community-based organisation committed to providing the highest standard of pickleball activity for all levels of ability.

The club currently has 4 fully qualified Pickleball Scotland Club coaches within ranks. Our coaches can help to improve the play.

GPC also has several Pickleball Scotland Ambassadors who can help introduce the game to the community.

GPC is affiliated to Pickleball Scotland and is also a member of Club Sport Aberdeen and the Westhill and District Sports and Leisure Hub.

Become a member of Grampian Pickleball Club

​We are actively developing and growing the club as part of our key aim to be inclusive and to achieve our objective of promoting pickleball in the Grampian community. Our players come from all different walks of life and we value everyone equally, regardless of ability levels. We work hard to support our members and our team of volunteers are trained to ensure that participants enjoy the best possible pickleball experience possible.

The current annual membership cost is £50

• ​We provide a high standard of pickleball activities in accordance with the Pickleball Scotland values
• Members can participate in our program of sessions (current session cost is £6 each)
• We offer members exclusive opportunities to attend coaching clinics and coach-facilitated training
• Members enjoy the overall wellbeing benefits of being part of our club and being physically active
• Nets and balls are provided.
• Members are covered by club insurance during official Grampian Pickleball Club activities
• Have a say in the development of the club at our AGM and/or join our team of volunteers
